The Cult of In-And-Out Burger

The story of In-And-Out Burger’s cult-like following here in the West. The first week I was here, Kovach told us to go to the one on El Camino, which is conspicuously close to where we happen to live today. In-And-Out afficianados even have their own lingo: You can order a 4 by 4, animal-style which is a burger with 4 slices of beef (close to a half a pound), 4 slices of cheese, a bun grilled with mustard, cooked onions, pickles and extra special sauce. I wouldn’t recommend eating that way every day, but hell, it’s making you hungry isn’t it?
