ThinkSecret says that updated Powerbooks will be forthcoming from Apple next week on November 6th (Ah Yeah). The new models should sport higher processor speeds, built-in Bluetooth, and an updated video sub-system. The original rollout was supposed to be a day earlier on the 5th, but since that is Election Day in the U.S., it wouldn’t make much business sense to announce on that day since consumer focus would be on politics. Pushback to the 6th was also an apparent PR move to steal Microsoft’s thunder when they announce their Tablet PC on the 7th.
