The right to a private, secret ballot is still fairly secure (so far). The proclivity of our political leanings, however, has achieved full transparency: Fundrace allows you to view how much money your neighbors, or anyone for that matter, donated and to which political candidate.
There is a certain voyeuristic allure to this that I cannot deny. You can search by address, city, region, or name. It’s all in there thanks to the FEC and Campaign Finance Reform. One surprise: there are a lot more Kucinic supporters here in Silicon Valley than I would have thought. Something not so surprising: rich people like to cover their bases [via the blue].
