Note to vim users: This is a great tip on how to use vim as an external editor in any windows application that understands the control-a keyboard command. This means you can effectively use vim whenever you are editing a textarea in your browser or replying to an email in Outlook, although the latter is probably not going to make a lot of sense unless you are creating or replying to an email in plain text.
Actually, come to think of it, using vim as an editor for anything is not going
to make a whole lot of sense unless you actually like to use it. But then again,
I’m already the king of not making sense: I not only use vim, I also
use the Dvorak keyboard layout.
