So I flew back from Sundance on Monday and my main thoughts are: it was fscking great, I wished I saw more movies and the company party rocked hard. The good thing about going to the festival later on in the week is that you don’t have to deal with the Celebrities as much, which is a huge plus in my mind, even though this is Sundance we are talking about.
I won’t go into the details of most of the trip, but the movies were great and the highlight was definitely the company party, which was thrown by Fox studios, themed after Little Miss Sunshine. The attention and devotion to detail was stunning. They towed the actual yellow Volkswagen van from the movie all the way from L.A. to Park City and into the large yoga studio where the party was held. They also recreated the living room set from the movie and had a myriad of other sweet touches (giant ‘Welcome to Hell’ banners hung from the ceiling, waffles with the hor dourves etc.).
