I finally got around to reinstalling Panther on the Powerbook and fixing the problems I had been experiencing with the DBD modules and threaded Perl not compiling correctly in 10.3. This means that MovableType finally works in Panther for me, so once again the site is live-ish.

I have debated between moving the daily stuff to Movable Type, or to continue adding more features to this hand-rolled CMS at least to the point where it becomes presentable in public. Alas, to paraphrase Larry Wall about the nature of developers, ego and hubris ensure that I continue to eat my own dog food.

I’ve had some technical problems with the site recently. It stopped working when I returned from a wedding in upper Michigan this weekend. The last time it worked was the day of the last post. After a few emails with the site admin, it looks as though the site has stabilized.
