Scared Shitless of Santa

Good god I love these “photos”:http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/custom/photos/chi-051207santascare-photogallery,1,592570.photogallery?coll=chi-homepagenews-utl. What is it with ruddy cheeked old white guys who sport a flaming red pajama suit festooned with white piping that freaks the bejesus out of little children? Soul-sucking registration required. You know the “drill”:http://www.bugmenot.com.

A Week In Blackrock

“Burning Man 2005″:http://www.scottlondon.com/photo/burningman2005/: I’m used to grainy, poorly taken shots of wasted, glassy eyed friends in the desert. These on the other hand are the best photos I’ve _ever_ seen of Burning Man. Kudos bars to the artists and photographer.

My friend and colleague Scott usually takes his holidays in exotic locales. Last year he went to India and Nepal. This year he went trekking about in Cambodia and Vietnam. As always, he took some cool and interesting “photos”:http://www.bulloch.org/img/VietCam05/index.htm.

Powerbook Snappies

Friday, December 13th, 2002 at 1:12 am

Powerbook redux: Because I am a dork, I snapped some photos of the Mac the day I took it home from the store. For posterity’s sake of course. Behold if you’re the beholdin’ type.

Now these are worthy of being called kick-ass panoramas. My favorites: The Eiffel Tower, Times Square, Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, and Ground Zero.

Baylands Trail in Palo Alto

Friday, August 23rd, 2002 at 4:56 pm

Palo Alto and Mountain View from the Baylands Preserve. If you look closely, you can see the hangars at Moffett Field (center left, small white buildings) in the distance. I took this photo earlier in the Summer while cycling from Mountain View to Palo Alto Airport.
